Kenji T.

Apprentice Stylist/Nail Tech

Hello there, my name is Kenji and I am so grateful to meet you. Growing up in a refugee camp, having beautiful hair was something the people in my community could only dream of. So, I guess you could say that getting to go to cosmetology school was like a dream come true. I am addicted to creating beautiful hair and inspiring your confidence. For me, confidence comes from self-care. Beautiful hair, a cute outfit and makeup to match, and a splash of perfume. I like to feel like a lady.

When it comes to your hair and making you feel confident, I'm not afraid to push the limits. I will go around the world to find a solution if I don't have one. I believe that there are no mistakes, just opportunities to learn. How your style makes you feel is so important to me!

When I'm not working, I love to go for long drives. I once drove for 34 hours without sleeping! I love spicy snacks, and I hate chocolate! My two cats Haru and Yuki keep me company while I enjoy the peace and quiet. I find that making connections to animals and people comes naturally to me.

Once I start talking, sometimes I can't stop. I just love getting to know new people. So, if you're ready for a little confidence boost and an amazing blowout book your next appointment with me! I can't wait to get to know you!

Lexi W.

Stylist/Nail Tech

HI, it's so great you're here! My name is Lexi. I've always loved everything beauty, although I didn't realize I wanted to be a stylist until I was in cosmetology school. The second I started playing with hair I knew being a stylist was my calling.

I love everything about vivid fashion colors and blonding. Pink is obviously my favorite color. Making you feel beautiful and unique is the most rewarding feeling in the world. Making a true connection with others is what makes this career so special.

When I am not in the salon you will find me soaking up the sun spending quality time with my husband. We love arcades and being outside! We are new to the area, but I love the area and can't wait to get to know my way around and get to know all of you. If you're in the market for a bubbly hairstylist or nail girl, I'm your gal! Let's make your hair dreams come true together. Whether that means rainbow hair, some classy blonding or just a trendy haircut that makes you feel your best I'm so excited to meet you!

Stori D.

Master Stylist/Master Nail Tech

Hey there! My name is Stori, I wish I had a cooler reason for my name, but I was just named after a relative. Sorry guys wish that were more exciting. I did not decide to become a cosmetologist until after high school. I was talking to my best friend and we both thought it sounded cool, so we went together. Turned out to be the best decision I never planned to make! I love making connections with people and this industry allows me to be social all while doing something I love and has allowed me to turn it into a career. I have been in the business for four years and I have become quite the color enthusiast! I love all things about blonding and natural lived-in colors. I like to keep up on the latest trends and am always looking for opportunities to master my craft.

I am a HUGE sports fan! I love the Browns and I am not sorry! When I am not at the salon, I am usually making memories with my friends and family. If it involves traveling or a country concert, count me in! I love binge watching shows with my BF and playing video games. We're total nerds! Together we have a mini zoo. We have a dog, a cat, a lizard and a fish. Don't' rat me out but I'm just getting started. I LOVE animals! I do not need much but I can’t live without my Crocs.

I like inspiration photos and helping people recreate the look while keeping in mind their budget and their lifestyle. Coming up with a game plan for you to have a style that you will love is my expertise. I have the memory of an elephant; I might forget your name, but I will not forget our conversation.

If you are ready for a great experience with good conversation and amazing results, schedule your appointment today. I can’t wait to meet you!

Shanna A.

Master Stylist/Master Nail Tech

At age 16, I was lost. I needed to start thinking about my future and my mom encouraged me to apply to vocational school. What on earth could I do at a vocational school!? I browsed the options and the one that pulled me in was cosmetology. My mom was a cosmetologist. I spent my childhood cutting my Barbie’s hair and performing surgery on Cabbage Patch Kids. Since surgeon wasn’t an option at the JVS, I applied to cosmetology. Thankfully, I was accepted and earned my license during my last two years of high school.

At my first salon, I was thrown to the wolves working in a chop shop salon. There was no real training or room for growth. During my downtime, I started to challenge myself. I started experimenting with different techniques and was able to teach myself some industry secrets for better haircuts that would extend the life of the cut, and just give it that extra special something. I eventually moved on to a full-service salon where I worked for 12 years doing everything hair, nails, and skin related. I did a lot of growing there.

I love the creativity the industry gives me. The freedom to think outside the box and be myself. My goal is to make you feel better about yourself and your appearance while giving you the knowledge and tools to recreate my work at home all by yourself! When you truly love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work. This is my passion and what makes me feel alive and thrive. With 20 years of experience, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and make the world a prettier place.

In my free time, you can catch me always listening to music or thrift shopping. I love Indie, Alternative, British Invasion, Oldies, and some Rap and Hip Hop. Anything that makes me want to MOVE! I love painting and drawing and trash reality TV. I’m into entomology (yup, bugs!) and I’d love to learn taxidermy! I have around 75 houseplants, so you can say my thumbs are a little green, too.

I’m comfortable being goofy and love entertaining my toddler with my silliness. I also have an adult son; he is much less entertained with my silliness. My partner of over 10 years, well he’s just used to it by now. If you’re okay with a little silliness and are looking for a great experience, I can’t wait to meet you!! I’ll take excellent care of you, listen to all your hair care needs and give you the tools to recreate the look you’ll love.

Courtney N.

Master Stylist/Nail Tech

I was never the girl who knew what she'd do when she grew up. I remember sitting in the parking lot of my job at Kroger, just dreading going in. An ad for the local beauty school came on and I found myself thinking of my mom’s best friend who used to do my hair growing up. I thought, I can do that. I’d love to make people feel like that every day. The rest was history.

I strive to get to know you and help you to choose a style that will make your inner light glow. There is beauty in everyone. I can cut a pretty sick fade, so don’t be afraid to bring your beaus in. Making others happy makes me happy. I am continuously training and pursuing the latest techniques to perfect my craft.

Don’t let my love for all things spooky fool you, I grew up on a farm and I am a country girl at heart. I love spending time with my daughter and my husband. We finally tied the knot! That's MRS. Favorite Hairstylist, thank you. On the weekends when the weather is nice, my husband and I love to go for long rides on the Harley. Aside from the family life and the bike riding, I am an avid baker. Baking with my daughter is my favorite! Chocolate chip cookies are our specialty.

If you’re not looking for your very own personal cheerleader, I’m probably not your girl. I’m a lover of life and people and try to find the bright side to every situation. So go ahead and schedule your appointment, I can’t wait to make you look and feel your best.

Master Stylist/Master Nail Tech

My first memory of realizing I wanted to become a stylist was after a "Lord Farquaad" haircut when I was 9. If you’re thinking about that awful Shrek character now, yes that’s the one! My long, beautiful hair was gone and I was left with this awful, frumpy boy hair that only a short cartoon villain could pull off. It was really the next haircut that got things started for me. The haircut that made me feel fierce and beautiful even though my hair was now shorter than my brothers. The first time I experienced the power of a great haircut. As I got older my passion for the industry only grew stronger. I fell in love with the opportunity to empower people, while being creative and loving my career. I was hooked and it truly felt like my calling.

Because of that experience, I have made it my superpower to make lemonade out of lemons. There is no such thing as bad hair, it’s just not finished yet. I believe satisfaction comes from great communication. That is why I make a point to create a true connection with every client. I do not want anyone leaving my chair feeling like Lord Farquaad! The ability to switch between hair and nails keeps me creative. I LOVE nail art.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find my husband and I cheering on our youngest son from the bleachers. The sports vary, but the goal is always the same. GO RAIDERS! My oldest son is out there pursuing his dreams, and I couldn't be prouder. I have a passion for refinishing old furniture. There’s just something special about breathing new life and purpose into something others see as junk. I consider myself the most patient, yet impatient person. This is probably why my husband named our Golden Retriever Patience. He says it’s the only way I would ever have any. He’s probably right, but we won't tell him that. Just to keep things balanced we added our Golden puppy named Grace to the family.

I will always be honest with you. I will be the first person to tell you if I think you are headed towards a hairtastophy! I am not afraid to tell you "No" if I genuinely believe it will compromise the integrity of your hair. I will work with you to keep your style current, while making you feel beautiful, but not just on the outside, the inside too.

So, if you’re tired of chair hopping and you’re ready to find your new salon home, come in and see us! You are going to love the experience! We can’t wait to meet you!
